Being on the FabSLAM team has been really fun. We got to learn all about 3D printers and how they work. We learned new software like Tinkercad, to design our products, and MatterControl, a slicer that makes the designs we make into layers and talks to the printer to make them. This website will take you on our journey of six weeks of learning and fun. We worked on this project for only a half an hour each day and a couple of times we stayed after school to work more, but in that little time we had, we learned a lot and now want to learn more.
